Marine Licence & Personal Watercraft Endorsement Course

 

 

Our Marine Licence courses will provide you with all the training and information you need, to competently operate a vessel, with your Victorian Marine Licence for boating or your Personal Watercraft (PWC) Endorsement for Jet Skiing.

 

If you enjoy water sports, fishing or just cruising, make the most of Victoria’s beautiful waterways, by enjoying everything that recreational boating has to offer.


















Course Information:

Duration: 3.5 hours (Approx.)
Cost: $130.00 per person (Marine Licence & PWC Endorsement).
Cost: $65.00 per person (PWC Endorsement Only).

Full Marine Licence – Applicants need to be at least 16 years of age.
Restricted Marine Licence – For children 12-15 years of age.
Personal Watercraft Endorsement – Applicants need to be least 16 years of age.

Re-Assessments are Free (if required).

Introduction – Certification – Vic Roads
Trip Preparation & Safety Equipment
Safe Operation, Speed & Distance Rules
Responding to Emergencies
Personal Watercraft – Jet Skis

Certification:

Participants are issued with a Certificate of Assessment, once they have successfully passed the multiple choice test, which they need to take to Vic Roads as evidence they have passed, when they apply for their Marine Licence card. Once you have completed the application, Vic Roads will issue you with your Marine Licence, and you can now enjoy recreational boating legally.

Vic Roads Marine Licence fees are between $39.80 & $44.90 per year

Vic Roads Restricted Marine Licence fees are $22.40 per year

Student Requirements:

 

ID – Australian Drivers Licence or Learners Permit, otherwise:

 

1 x Primary form of ID – Birth Certificate or Passport for eg.

 

1 x Secondary form of ID – Medicare Card or Student ID Card for eg.

 

Children will need a parent or guardian to complete & sign a referee statement as well.
